Cress Review

In this third in the Lunar Chronicles, Cinder an Captain Throne are fugitives on the run, now with Scarlet and Wolf in tow. Together, they're plotting to overthrow Queen Levana an her army.

Their best hope lies with Cress a girl imprisoned on a satellite since childhood who's only ever had her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker. Unfortunately, she's just received orders from Levana to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice.

When a daring rescue of Cress goes awry, the group is separated. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Queen Levana will let nothing prevent her marriage to Emperor Kai. Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder may not have signed up to save the world, but they may be the only hope the world has.

My Thoughts:

This book was so good. We saw a bit of Luna for the first time throughout this series and it was amazing considering we will see it more in depth in Winter.

Cress is the new character that is introduced in this novel. I really felt like her reactions were really realistic and reasonable consider your situation. She was so happy about the littlest things, like seeing the sun, and being on Earth. Also her emotions are so much more rawer then Cinders and Scarlet, who tended to hide there's.

Also is anyone going to mention that the doctor is Cress's dad. I didn't really see it coming until he was saying that Throne wasn't good enough for his Crescent Moon and I was so surprised.

Them kidnapping Kai at the end was so perfect and hilarious to see. They had so many problems while doing it nicely, that they pretty much just gave up and kidnapped him.

5 out of 5 stars
